A Common Space

Welcome! English I meets either C or D block, and sometimes wonderful things happen once that never return. This page is not only a place where you can find the syllabus, handouts, links and so forth, it is also a place where conversations can continue after class and between sections! When from time to time I assign a posting, be sure to take time to read what other people have said, both inside and outside your block. Respond with a name that we recognize—no anonymous postings please— in a way that reflects your individual meeting with text or with the issue, and which is respectful of what has come before and welcomes further conversation. Be sure to read the previous posts, too, so that you are part of a whole and not simply a voice without context. I'm looking forward to seeing what you have to say about the class this year!
