53 Word Story?

I posted the link in "online resources". If you are interested, do it! Due by tomorrow, 2 PM. All information you need is on the website. And here's mine again: Ride The bumper sticker reading, “God is my co-pilot” might have spooked him. But he had already stuck out his thumb, the blue Subaru had already pulled over. Fred popped a mint, took a breath, and dove into the front seat, wishing he had X-ray vision for the future. And there she was.

A Common Space

Welcome! English I meets either C or D block, and sometimes wonderful things happen once that never return. This page is not only a place where you can find the syllabus, handouts, links and so forth, it is also a place where conversations can continue after class and between sections! When from time to time I assign a posting, be sure to take time to read what other people have said, both inside and outside your block. Respond with a name that we recognize—no anonymous postings please— in a way that reflects your individual meeting with text or with the issue, and which is respectful of what has come before and welcomes further conversation.
