NO BOOKS!

The other side of the "you can bring an outline" card (See previous posting) is that you should NOT bring your books. Thumbing through pages when you have only 50 minutes to write is a bad idea. Do the looking ahead of time and spend the time you have actually writing! Good luck from Albuquerque!!!

I don't know where else to post this, so I'm choosing the latest post.
A lot about this time period is familiar. I know a lot about about it from my studies of World War I and II. I've been fascinated by that period for a long time, and I've done a bit of research for fun. I haven't as much focused on the city of Paris in the Interwar Years, but the settings are familiar from some other books I've read, and I'm sure I'll recognize more as time goes on.

A Common Space

Welcome! English I meets either C or D block, and sometimes wonderful things happen once that never return. This page is not only a place where you can find the syllabus, handouts, links and so forth, it is also a place where conversations can continue after class and between sections! When from time to time I assign a posting, be sure to take time to read what other people have said, both inside and outside your block.
